Copyright and / or Trademark Takedown Requests
Swoovy doesn’t allow any content that infringes copyright. Use of copyrighted materials without permission violates Swoovy’s policies.
If your copyright-protected work was posted on Swoovy without authorization, you can submit a copyright takedown request.
Before submitting a takedown request, please consider the following:
Whether a copyright exception such as fair use or fair dealing applies, invalidating the takedown request
Requests must be submitted by the copyright owner or a legal representative
False claims or misuse of the takedown form may result in the suspension of your Swoovy account or other legal consequences
In accordance with Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), all takedown requests submitted via Swoovy’s contact form require acknowledgement and acceptance of the following:
The request has been made in good faith
The information in the request is accurate
Under penalty of perjury, the person filing the request is the copyright holder, or an authorized representative of the copyright holder
Lastly, please have all of the following information prepared before submitting your request:
Copyright owner’s full name
Copyright owner’s email address
Copyright owner’s phone number
Copyright owner’s mailing address
The type of content being infringed, including a description of the content and where it’s located on Swoovy
